The Aeronautical Information Publication VFR (AIP VFR) contains extracts from the AIP, additional relevant information for VFR flights, as well as VFR approach and departure charts in alphabetical order. Also included are aerodrome charts, regulations and supplementary information for aerodromes, airfields and military aerodromes which are also used by civil air traffic.
The AIP VFR is kept up-to-date by means of Amendments (AMD) which are issued every four weeks. In addition, Supplements (SUP) and Aeronautical Information Circulars (AIC) are issued. Subscribers to the AIP VFR also receive the Enroute Chart 1:1.000.000 free of charge.
