The extended VFR Bulletin contains all NOTAMs selected at the time of going to print. These NOTAMs contain information on the equipment, status and changes of facilities, services, procedures as well as hazards to VFR flights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
NOTAMs are written in German and contain commonly used abbreviations. The VFR Bulletin is divided into subject areas, such as navigational warnings, airspaces, navigation facilities, route information, aerodromes and heliports.
It enables pilots to prepare their own VFR flights by means of self-briefing. It is definitely a "must" for every VFR pilot!
The dispatch of the VFR Bulletin will be terminated on 31. 01. 2008. From this date on, it will be available online at no cost. For more info call AIS-C ++49 - (0)69 - 780 725 00.
