The Panel Mount allows flush, secure mounting of Garmin GPS 196/296/496 in the panel. It fits in a standard 6.25" avionics stack. Once the Panel Mount is installed in the aircraft, the release latch allows the quick removal of the portable GPS from the plane for upgrades, flight planning, use in the car or boat or simply for security purposes. The antenna and power cables fit through holes in the rear of the unit which are designed to prevent the cables slipping back into the panel when the GPS is removed. Made from durable, high quality plastic, the Panel Mount comes with a set of mounting hardware.
