The new S1 Digital pilot's headset, which has been developed for use in single-engine and twin-engine propeller aircraft as well as helicopters. Designed in cooperation with experienced pilots, the General Aviation headset has proven its outstanding performance in numerous practical trials. A unique combination of passive attenuation and NoiseGard™ / digital adaptive noise compensation ensures a significant reduction in noise experienced by the pilot compared to competitor products. At the push of the Smart Update button, the headset will adapt its NoiseGard filters to the actual noise environment, thereby providing excellent speech intelligibility for communication in the cockpit and with air traffic control (ATC). The headset features adjustable contact pressure and ear cushions with a special "glasses zone" for optimum sealing and wearing comfort. A Bluetooth connection to MP3 players, mobile phones and computers — with separate audio mixers for speech and music — ensures music enjoyment at the highest level and telephone calls in optimum speech quality.
The headset is rounded off by a timeless design by BMW Group DesignworksUSA.
